Dress selection for your wedding day is a primary concern for bride as well as groom. Shalwar kameez is one such dress that can be selected by both groom and bride to wear on their special day.
There is a huge variety of colors and styles in it. The most common stuff for groom’s kameez is bosky, silk, banarsi, khaddar and jamawar. As the trends have changed, now even the groom’s wedding dress is made by adding a bit fancy in it and giving a slight touch of embellishments. Earlier the colors for groom’s shalwar kameez were limited but now they are available in number of colors such as black, off white, crème, and many others. Sometimes, the groom takes chaddar or shawl in matching with his bride-to-be dress, which really looks beautiful and different.
There is a great variety of styles for bride’s kameez. Some of the most common are straight kameez, A-line kameez which is slightly broad, anarkali style kameez, angrakha style kamiz and many others. Similarly there are various designs for bride’s shalwar such as fitted shalwar, patiala shalwar and many other. Nowadays a trouser is preferred instead of shalwar, to look more stylish and fashionable. The stuff in which it could be stitched for bride are silk, jamawar, chiffon, georgette, velvet, and banarsi stuff. It mainly depends on the bride-to-be and the season in which she is getting married that what stuff she finally chooses for it.
